Evolution 1.4.6 on Solaris unable to inline view ical/.ics files

I have Evolution 1.4.6 running on Solaris 8 + Gnome 2.0 with only one
noticeable difference from how Evolution runs on Redhat or Mandrake. 
Evolution on Solaris is unable to inline view .ics file(s) (sent from
Evolution or Outlook).  I am able to save the .ics file(s) and then
import it, however this is a bit of a pain.

Any suggestions?
