I have been all over google but can not find a solution, probably me not understanding what others are saying, with that said: How do tunnel rdesktop through ssh? I have Linux system at work that I use to ssh to my Linux system at home using ssh username@myip_address -L 3390:xp_system:3389 I then want to rdesktop to my Wifes XP system. If I use "rdesktop xp_system" I get a black window on my work computer. If I "rdesktop localhost" I get connection refused. I had this working once before but silly me, I did not take notes.
