Re: Ximian Desktop 2 | SUSE 9.0 Install

Andy,
     That would be great if we could figure out what the issue is for a local media install.  I just removed my "redcarpet" directory and downloaded everything necessary for the "redcarpet2" directory as per your recommendation, but my "Forward" button is still greyed out on the installation screen.  Any idea why?  

Also, a little confusion...why does the site list to download "redcarpet2/${ARCH}/packageinfo.xml.gz" separate from the entire archive.  If you are going to download all the packages anyways for your distribution (the entire directory), why is the "packageinfo" listed as a separate download?  Is this file supposed to be in a specific location in the local media file tree structure?

there is an error on mentioned support page. I have more luck with
install on SuSE 9.0 Pro, when downloaded
redcarpet2/${ARCH}/packageinfo.xml.gz
redcarpet2/${ARCH}/<all the packages>
instead of redcarpet/...
Button is now worked, but I've got problems some later.

I can extend Your question, if I ask someone (who has purchased XD2
CDs) to list all files on XD2 CD for SuSE 9. Then, we can compare it
with our downloads.
