Please provide evidence that KDE is not on the machine.  "rpm -qa | grep
kde | wc -l" might be meaningful.  Similarly, "rpm -qa | grep kde |
xargs rpm -V" complaining of missing files would be meaningful.  "It
doesn't work" doesn't equate with "it's not on the machine".  See below
for my instructions on getting KDE to work.

/etc/sysconfig/displaymanager

Either you didn't modify /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager, or you removed
more packages than were necessary, even when the software notified you
that it would do so.  My guess is that you ignored my advice to
edit /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager.

If I can make a suggestion:

Read and follow the instructions I provided.  If they don't work,
provide details.  Something short of a reinstall can perhaps be
accomplished.

Click a link in what, Konqueror? That's a KDE issue. Nothing we can do
about it.
