Source will certainly be available, and third parties and OS vendors are certainly welcome to package it themselves. Now that Connector is Free, that's every bit as available on other platforms. I expect to see Evolution 2.0 on a wide range of platforms. That's not to say we'll be packaging it for those platforms, though. I'm not sure which platforms other than SUSE will be target platforms for our binaries. I'm not sure such a decision has been made. Note: how "we" or "our" translates to Ximian vs. Novell vs. SUSE is a bit ambiguous. -Mark Gordon On Fri, 2004-05-21 at 16:41 -0400, jack wallen wrote: > will evo2 only be available for SuSE? > > i'm about to upgrade to FC 2 and really would like to continue with > evolution. but if it's not going to be made available for anything but > SuSE (and a select few distros) then...well...hmmmm. > > On Fri, 2004-05-21 at 16:12, Greg Macek wrote: > > On Wed, 2004-05-19 at 15:24, David Krider wrote: > > > On Wed, 2004-05-19 at 14:01, Mark Gordon wrote: > > > > > > > On Wed, 2004-05-19 at 13:40 -0500, David Krider wrote: > > > > > Sorry.
