[Fwd: Re: Red Carpet freezes]

I wrote a while ago and no one had any ideas.  I've tried to buy
support, but Ximian's site sends me to Novell and they haven't been much
help in taking my money.  Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Red Carpet/rug freezes at the verify step.  By now, k_deflt is no longer
the particular package on which it freezes as the urgent update list has
grown.  It seems to freeze on any package at the verify stage.

Is there a debug switch I can turn on in some config file somewhere?  Is
there a log file?  Is there anyway to get a clue as to what's happening?

Alternatively, has anybody had any success in paying for support
recently?  How can I do it?

It used to freeze on verifying k_deflt (see below).  Now it freezes

Is there a reset or equivalent to "rpm --rebuilddb" for rug/red carpet?
