Weird MDK 10 Font Problem

Hi all,

I have recently installed MDK 10.0 official. I use Evo as my email
client.

My problem is that the fonts for my local folders and the folder list
are "huge". As soon as I open "gnome-font-properties" the fonts assume
the desired size. I do not have to make any changes in the fonts, and in
fact even before the gnome font properties dialogue presents itself the
fonts will change to the desired size. I have to do this on each login,
if I close Evo in the current session and re-open it -- the fonts are
fine.

Anybody else seen anything like this? Any suggestions? As I said this is
a fresh install of MDK 10 on this machine (Dell Inspiron 8200).?
