Thanks to Babak Mahmoudi, Edwin Hakopian, and others a new Persian (a= lso=20 known as Farsi) dictionary is now available for Aspell 0.60: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/fa/aspell6-fa-0.02-0.tar.bz2 The German (de) dictionary by Bj=F6rn Jacke has been updated to the l= atest=20 source version, 20030222. In addition an affix file is now used, but= affix=20 compression is not enabled by default. You can find it at: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/de/aspell6-de-20030222-1.tar.bz2 A New German dictionary using the original spelling rules (de-alt),= =20 originally by Heinz Knutzen, is now available for Aspell 0.60: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/de/aspell6-de-alt-2.1-1.tar.bz2 If there is enough interest I can combine both German dictionaries in= to=20 one and release an Aspell 0.50 version. Due to limitations of Aspell= 0.50=20 it is not possible to release them as separate dictionaries. Dictionary updates from this point on will be announced on a bi-weekl= y=20 basis. ---=20 http://kevin.atkinson.dhs.org
