A new Aspell 0.61 snapshot is not available at:
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/aspell-0.61-20071015.tar.gz
Changes which will appear in 0.61 include:
* Added a generic conversion (genconv) filter for converting from old
multi-charter ASCII encodings to single-character encoding such as
Unicode.
* Added support for recognizing TeX and Texinfo commands used to
encode non-ASCII letters as well as support for skipping over Tex
hyphens.
* Rewrote the document checker interface to correctly handle the case
when the replacement is more than one word.
* Be able to store the same base word multiple times ie "foo/x",
"foo/y", which makes sense when cross products are involved.
* Other minor enhancements and bug fixes.
Please test and out and report any bugs you find at:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=100245&group_id=245&func=browse
Just be sure to mention that is is an Aspell 0.61 (and not 0.60) bug.
I have also updated the TODO list at http://aspell.net to include adding
support useful Hunspell features and to Support more than one spell
checker engine. As always I would appreciate any help I can get in this
area.
For specific things I want to get done for 0.61 see the file "TODO-0.61"
in the snapshot.
I will create a new snapshot as needed and will announce the changes to
[email protected].
