Aspell does NOT say that "transfered" is incorrect.

Hi,

I am a Japanese and tried to use Aspell (Windows version) to check my English.

I am very happy with Aspell result. Thanks for your great effort for Aspell :)

But I happened to find that it did NOT say "transfered" is incorrect,
while it DID say following spellings were incorrect;

blured
chared
defered
fured
occured
prefered
spured
stired

I hope this may help something.
