Hi,
This link warns not to use Aspell dictionaries on 64-bit systems unless
properly compiled
with --enable-32-bit-hash-fun option.

http://aspell.net/man-html/Using-32_002dBit-Dictionaries-on-a-64_002dBit-System.html

My question is regarding the dictionaries from here:

ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/en

1. Should this option be used for the most recent English dictionaries?

2. If to build the dictionaries at a big endian Intel/AMD x86_64 Linux,
should they be appropriate
to use at a big endian win64 Windows?

Thank you in advance.

Hypo
