Hi,

I rewrote my copy of the writable.cpp module. The new version
does not use the "slight of hand" that I complained about
earlier.

It did make the code a little longer and executable larger.
The lines went from 894 to 1010. The size of the dll when from
700kb to 704kb.

I submitted a patch to sourceforge
