question about greek dictionary

I type in English when I'm talking to people on AIM or Yahoo with Gaim, but when I type to people on MSN through Gaim I'm mostly typing in Greek (with Greek characters).  I downloaded the Greek dictionary for Aspell off of the download dictionaries link that is in the Aspell menu in the Programs menu from Start, but Gaim still doesn't seem to recognise Greek words.  Is there something special that I need to do in order to make the Greek spellchecker available, or can I not have two different languages be Spell Checked?
