retrieve supported languages from aspell via C Api

Hey, how can I retrieve the supported languages (not dicts) from aspell via the C Api? Cause the dicts are to present the user someway stupid named ... en_GB en_US de_DE de_CH ..... I would have a way to get the supported languages like: english german .... Is there a way? Ciao Ephraim
