Help?

Play a version (Version 2, June 1991, Apple date 2003) which came with
OS X panther (10.3.4) Updated to 10.3.9.

In the middle of the games, plays by black pawns (the computer
generated moves) against white pawns are incorrect. If a white pawn
moves to the same row as the black pawn( let's say row 5), the computer
will make a play and capture the white pawn(which is actually on the
same row 5) and will move the black pawn forward to row 4 right or left
depending on which column the white pawn occupied.

This happens all across the board, the black pawn moving both to the
left and the right.
It also happens from row 4 to row 3, and from row 3 to row 2.

Have searched the apple site and gnu site for an update, and can find
nothing for a mac application.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
