Running engine on mac os x ?

Hi!

I am trying to start gnuchess as an UCI engine but has no success.

I have installed gnuchess version 6.2.5 via homebrew

I tried

gnuchess -u

  and

gnuchess -ux

But i fail to get the program to accept the uci protocol.

Has anyone out there succeeded with this!?
