When you use GNU Chess from Knights, do you run it in UCI mode or default mode? For UCI mode, you start the program as gnuchess -u or gnuchess --uci For default mode, you just type the program name with no argument. On the other hand, if you are somehow manage to play the same game, will it hang on the same position?
