RE: How do I inhibit the copying of the source files to the build tree

Hi,

I promised to post our approach to solving our problem. First, my 
apologies for us not doing our homework completely before posting. It 
turns out that Johan has solved this problem in Cons::Plus with BUILD_TOP. 
At least we believe that this approach is going to work for us. In any 
case, the problem he describes is exactly our problem. Our prototype is 
not complete yet using BUILD_TOP, but the intial results look promising. 
We have been implementing our own extension module, which we intend to 
post when it is complete.
