GNU/EDMA CVS has been updated with the current Alpha version 0.9.4. http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=3Dedma Remember that the current branch is under 'gnuedma' module not on the 'edma' one. The major changes and additions in this release are: * Support for multiple versions of components * The FAQ has been updated. Now is in /doc directory * A serializer class has been added.=20 For now, it just works on simple objects=20 * Networking classes updated.=20 * Minor bug fixes and some code clean up * PIA Project: A partial interface to access GNU/EDMA services=20 from Perl has been added. See the FAQ for more information The GNOME Graphical tools have been also updated: * GNOME Class Browser now show general information of the selected class, as well as, version information * GNOME IDF Wizard has been updated to deal with versioning information. AUTOOLS_BUILDER class has been corrected=20 Minor changes: * New test examples: update/: A simple example on how run-time class updating and versioning =09 works serializer/: Show how to use the new SERIALIZE class virtual_methods/: Tests on how to use virtual methods * New tool khums It is a simple example on how to use the networking classes.=20 Basically it is a generic multithread server which service function is implemented using a GNU/EDMA component.
