This problem arises from GNUe's move from a character based layout to a
box based layout.

In old versions of gnue, each entry was absolutely positioned at an x
and y position. Since version 0.6 of gnue-forms, the preferred way is to
dynamically align the entries in hboxes and vboxes. However,
gnue-designer hasn't mirrored this change yet.

This is probably the biggest task ahead for bringing gnue-designer up to
date again.
