os x installation

Good Evening;

I just downloaded and installed the common and forms packages on my 
ibook running os x 10.3.6 with python 2.3.3 and wxpython 2.5.3.1.
When I try to run a form

gnue-forms -u wx contact.gfd

I get

This program needs access to the screen. Please run with 'pythonw',
not 'python', and only when you are logged in on the main display of
your Mac.

I am assuming that this might be a path program and it can't find the 
pythonw to launch gnue-forms ????

any help appreciated.
