Help getting started with gnue-forms

Hello,

Newbie question-time again ;-)

Just signed up to the maillist as I am interested in trying out GNUe
for developing apps. I have installed the latest versions of the
various tools OK and I'm playing around with gnue-forms against a
Postgresql back-end at the moment. However I have a couple of problems
and would like to ask a couple of questions in order to get up and
running....

1.    Where can I find some example forms?
~       (Other than samples-0.4.0 which does doesn't work with
gnue-forms 0.5.9 - complains about not liking the "width" attribute")

2.    Are dropdown fields currently working?
~       (I have a static datasource for my dropdown, and it populates
Ok on a query, but doesn't seem to behave properly when I try and
change and commit it).

3.   Is this project still "Live"? and is it likely to stay so?
~      (The archives seem to suggest it may have "stalled" a couple of
times over the last few years....or have I got the wrong end of the
stick?)
