installation of gnue-common-0.6.7

Hello,

I am trying to install the actual gnue suite, and already the first step 
fails. When installing gnue-common as root with:

setup.py install --home=/opt/gnue

I get the output:

running install
error: must supply either home or prefix/exec-prefix -- not both

My system is an openSuSE 10.2

Any suggestions?
