It would seem that GNUe-Common 0.5.3 was released minus the drivers for Pygresql. Pygresql is the driver bundled with SuSE and so the lack of these files have been the cause of a lot of installation problems. You can get a hotfix for GNUe-Common 0.5.3 at http://www.gnuenterprise.org/downloads/current.php Recent nightly snapshots or svn are also ok. Here is the README from the hotfix This hotfix addresses the broken pygresql gnue driver in GNUe-Common 0.5.3. pygresql is the driver bundled with SuSE 9.0.
