Thanks for the report.  But I cannot reproduce that behavior.

  df /floppy
  Filesystem           1k-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
  /dev/fd0                  1423      1417         6 100% /floppy

This sounds like something unique to your system.  It would be most
appreciated if you can debug it further there.
