Error with "ln" using several ./ in the Path

I try to install libaries and the Makefiles make several links from
headerfiles to a spezial place. One of this links doesnot show to the
original File but appends the filename with randomize charakters.

.././.././ncarg2d/src/libncarg_gks/gks.h  gks.h
pazifik:/usr/local/src/ncarg-4.3.1/include/ncarg # ls -lat
total 8

lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           45 Sep 24  2003 gks.h ->
.././.././ncarg2d/src/libncarg_gks/gks.h?¾ËÃ?

After deleting one of the ./ in the path everything went right.
