dd --verbose

Hello

I would like to get some detailed info while dd is running, such as

processing block: %d, block size: %d, offset: %d (0x%x), remaining
blocks: %d

I don't think there is a dd --verbose option at present.  If I were to
create a patch with this feature would it be supported for inclusion
after review etc please?
