Follow-up Comment #3:

I agree to have a new release soon.
Although we don't have the change for the arm-swapping problem
in the optimizer code yet, we have quite some fixes and new
features pushed already.

And I'd call it 4.9.0 ... actually I don't think we need the
third number and can remove in one of the next releases.

From my side, I'd only include the `find -delete` doc fix [1],
and then do the release.
Anyone/Anything else?
