I am currently running version 4.9.0 and this bug still appears to be present
in this release.

While I understand that changing the documentation as proposed in option 1.
may seem deeply unintuitive, I would still appreciate the documentation to
reflect how the code actually behaves, rather than as we may wish it behave.

Speaking for me personally, I was having a difficult time to understand why my
scripts were not working as I expected them to whenever I used the -daystart
option in combintion with -amin, -cmin, or -mmin. Even after consulting the
documentation.

I also believe that updating the documentation would clarify its use alongside
other options such as -mtime. Where -mtime 0 on its own refers to files
modified between 0 and 24 hours ago. However, following the documentation, if
-daystart set the reference point to 00:00:00 today, then logically -daystart
-mtime 0 should refer to all files modified in the 24 hour window between
00:00:00 today and 00:00:00 yesterday (which is not the case!).
