I just tried to update the pkgsrc entry from 1.18 to 1.19. I see two
"test =3D=3D" bugfixes I sent in were applied (and in Changelg) -- thanks!
Also, I get a compile failure that my C compiler (gcc 4.8) is not C++11
compliant. 1.18 builds fine, and I don't see any increased compiler
requirements in NEWS. Also, it doesn't fail at configure time, just
during the build.

So I wonder if this is an intended vs unintended change.

(I'm still building with autoconf, and not using the not-in-NEWS CMake
support.)
