How to get perl link working?

Hi,

I successfully install gift and charmer. I can dice and query image using
'Separate Normalization' and 'Classical IDF', but I can't get image shown up
using 'Perl link'. I saw Mingchung Liu also has this issue in the post. Can
someone shed light on it?
