In the beginning I think the feature information was shipped with the GIFT. 
Then we had trouble when there were small changes in the feature extraction. 
Now what is done is that the generate description stuff is called from the 
perl script. the perl script then strips of the stuff that is not so cool to 
parse from within c++.
