Data loss in CVS archive: revision 1.9 of gtags-cscope/global-cscope.h has vanished

Hello everyone,

when I updated my local working copy of GLOBAL today, I ran into this
error message:

> $ cvs update
> M gtags-cscope/display.c
> cvs2 [update aborted]: could not find desired version 1.9 in /sources/global/global/gtags-cscope/global-cscope.h,v

But that revision must have existed at some point.  My current working
copy has this log line:

> /* $Id: global-cscope.h,v 1.9 2019/05/15 18:36:51 h-iwamoto Exp $ */

and the commit mailing list does have a posting corresponding to that.

But now it's gone?
