I understood your usage. However, I don't understand what you
want to do.
If you want to only put the tag files at places other
than the project root directory, you can use 'obj' directory.
Please see the online manual.
Otherwise, if you want to use GTAGSDBPATH, you must know a method
to set environment variables in gvim. I don't know about it.
