Contributing to Gnucap

Hello!
I would first like to thank you for your efforts with the Gnucap.

Since the recent release of BJT-capable Gnucap my interest in the project
(which, btw., I have been considering very prospective ever since the
first time I came across it) has risen substantially.

I would therefore like to contribute to Gnucap, but I am a physicist, not
an electrical engineer, so I am not able to help with the "clever"
projects in the list. Instead, I could do something with the following:
Graphic postprocessor, Control shell, Interfaces to other software and
Textbooks. Also, I only have the next 8 months to do it (while doing the
civil service duty) and afterwards I will only be able to maintain, but no
more develop what I create.

On a more operational level, here is what I had in mind:
1. Graphic postprocessor - make GWave work with Gnucap. (Should be easy)
2. Control shell - Bind Gnucap to some of the popular scripting languages
   (Perl, Python or my personal favorite - Ruby)
3. Interfaces to other software - I would be most happy if Oregano could
   use Gnucap as its engine (in addition to the currently available SPICE)
4. Textbooks - I am about to read "The Art of Electronics" (Horowitz &
   Hill) from the beginning to the end once again, so I could as well
   make a note and explanations of how simulate some (or most) of the
   circuits using Gnucap. The only problem with this is that I am not a
   native English speaker, but I hope the information content is more
   important than its form.

Any suggestions and opinions of yours on what of the above (or similar)
would be the most important contribution to the project are kindly
requested, so I can decide on what to do next.
