Dan, thanks for your response. Yes, there is a d_bjt.model file in the src 
directory. I forgot to add that my gcc verision

$gcc -v
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.4.4 (cygming special) (gdc 0.12, using dmd 0.125)

$ make --version

I'm trying to see of a later version of gcc will help the cause.
