"Two 12-month doctoral Graduate Research Assistantships (GRAs) are available immediately for students interested in working for their PhD in measurement and/or control engineering area under the Measurement and Control Engineering Research Center (MCERC), College of Engineering, Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho. The area of measurement includes the general area of measurement theory and practice, and instrumentation and the area of control include signal processing, communications and computation (both hardware and software) besides other topics of linear, nonlinear, optimal, robust and intelligent control." It also includes the theory and practice of simulation of circuits and systems, and is the primary research center behind Gnucap. "Each assistantship carries an amount of $20,385.24 to cover stipend ($15,788.24), instate fees ($3,768), health insurance ($550) etc. An additional $279.00 is reserved for one-credit during summer.
