hi Kevin.

i'd volunteer to test. however, as a non-expert i have no idea how to
start. can you (acoording to a convention?) add a README.CMake or
INSTALL.CMake file with basic instructions?

some of these are not available in the autotools branch either. to get
an idea of what i think makes sense (YMMV!), take a look at the
gnucap-uf tarballs [1].
