Looks great!  While easy to back-port, it would be nice to get this out
in a release before we go on a multi-year vacation again...  did you
notice some fuzzing report that wasn't fixed?

I have a re-implementation of 'arp' that belongs in inetutils, maybe I
should finally add it...
