I am attempting to compile and install lib tool on my new laptop and make check failed at:

146: C++ exception handling                          FAILED (exceptions.at:398)
172: Run tests with low max_cmd_len                  FAILED (cmdline_wrap.at:45)

Please see the attached testsuite.log file from make check.

My system is as follows:

MacBook Pro 14"
MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1
Apple M4 Max (16 core)
64GB RAM
Shell: zsh
Filesystem: APFS

I tried the latest stable release (2.5.4) as well as the latest git clone repository and get the same result with the two tests failing.
