libtool and sysroot

I noted that --with-sysroot=yes calls(=yes seems undocumented?)
  lt_sysroot=`$CC --print-sysroot 2>/dev/null`
Should not $CFLAGS be included here too as gcc may have its sysroot
changed with --sysroot?
