Hi,

I've just uploaded LilyPond 2.7.21, which contains a basic importer for 
part-wise MusicXML.

It is still basic: it handles tuplets, chords, slurs, clef/time 
signature/key signature.  Notable lacking features are:

  - \relative output

  - various articulation and interpretation signs (staccato, portato, 
dynamics, etc.)

  - setup of staves (ie. brackets/brace etc. setup)

  - lyrics
