Oops, sorry, when I said “It's mentioned in the "known issues" at the end of https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/-/issues/34” the link was the result of wrong copy/paste. It should have been https://lilypond.org/doc/v2.22/Documentation/notation/special-rhythmic-concerns#grace-notes Namely, the chapter about grace notes already mentions this, at the end, under “known issues and warnings”, and gives examples.
