Sorry, Werner, unfortunately I didn't do that. It really didn't occur to 
me that this could be a feature. However, I don't understand why the 
default is not "0". Space is rare and you often can't waste it, 
especially not in the title.

PS I had already inserted "top-markup-spacing = 0\mm"
