This could have been a long and interesting discussion that could at least have lead to noticeable improvements of input validation in Lilypond and of the documentation linked to. However I do not want to discuss with someone who puts a good-faith bug report prepared according to all the guideline for a bug report off with

I have been following the suggestion for years. Since we want and encourage bug reports from users, I suggest that we also welcome some false positives. This is not my first false positive; but most of my bug reports have been real.
