We should abandon the approach when its cost is higher than its benefit
though.
If this is just an occasional nudge, it's fine.
But if I remember right, I think Werner was talking about top-posting (an
expression I
learned the meaning of in that very email) not two months ago.
Two messages in two months make me think we might actually have
reached a point where we might reconsider this thing.

I think that if this "email etiquette" thing costs us developer
participation,
we're making a questionable choice.
