OK,
I got a fork, and set up a branch with the two updated files
("fret-diagrams.scm" and "customizing-fretboard-fret-diagrams.ly")
hopefully in the right places.
But I'd still like to find out how to update the Lilypond Internals
Reference's Sec. 3.2.53 - I was not able to find the corresponding file in
the "Documentation" folder of my fork.
