With respect to the 12-rung Energy Ladder, most of the world lives on Rungs 0 (Wandering), 1 (Struggling), or 2 (Searching) their entire lives.

Rung 2 is characterized primarily by a belief in a “magic bullet” to solve All The Problems™, and dominated by binary thinking (pun impossible to avoid). AI is simply the current “magic bullet” for many people.

It’s unfortunate that most people — and thus the world — will never ascend to any of the higher rungs.
