My recent comment about using the bug list related to a vague new ticket that would have benefited from refinement on the bug list before being created. When there is already a ticket, if the update is similar to "I can[not] reproduce the issue with version 2.25.x on [operating system]" and a small image generated with lilypond -dpreview ... then commenting directly in the ticket is appropriate (IMHO). -- Dan
