The planned release candidates are done, and I'm not aware of any
issues reported via channels that I monitor (mailing lists, GitLab). We
had some fixes, but even those weren't large nor many...

So my proposal would be that I backport the remaining changes to
stable/2.26 before the end of the week (thanks for labeling the merge
requests, I haven't had the time yet to go through the list).

Then I will try to build the binaries on Sunday, April 19, and upload
for some last-minute testing. The final release would be Tuesday, April
21.
